About Us

Welcome to Chippenham Uniform Exchange!
We are a not-for-profit community interest organisation helping Chippenham families with the cost of school uniform. Our aim is to create a single unified scheme for reusing preloved items of school uniform in Chippenham, Wiltshire. We enable Chippenham families to dispose of outgrown school uniform ethically for the benefit of the community instead of throwing it away into landfill.
Families can pass on to us any items of school uniform no longer needed which can then be accessed at very low cost through pop-up shops or provided for free to families who find themselves in financial hardship.
The scheme is available to all families with school-aged children in the Parish of Chippenham.

Donate Uniform

Join the uniform recycling revolution!

We should all be thinking about our personal impact on the environment... Did you know that every year pupils create 7kg of school uniform waste? This equates to over 47 tonnes of uniform waste in Chippenham each year! Where does yours go?

You can donate outgrown items of school uniform at our community donation points or at any of our pop-up shops and uniform drives.

We accept all items of school uniform including logo items, PE kit, shoes and coats.

We aim to make good quality preloved school uniform accessible to all Chippenham families.

Preloved school uniform is available from our pop-up shops or can be requested directly at any time.
